San Luis Obispo Golf & Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in San Luis Obispo, California.
San Luis Obispo Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1957. The course was designed by Bert Stamps. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the course in 1984.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,740 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,888 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 570 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 423 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, a 476 yard par-5. The signature hole is #14, a 171-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over water.

My only disappointment with the Club is the Membership. I don't live in the Country Club and, therefore, many members just ignore me. In other words, if you're not wealthy enough to buy a home on the Country Club you're not accepted by many members who do live there.
